If someone could post the 2nd, youth and 1st section results here, and the missing points for the 4th and 3rd, I'd appreciate it...

Here's the 4th and 3rd section results I can remember:

    4th Section

1st - Rivington & Adlington (conducted by Harry Bentham)
2nd - Standish Brass Band (conducted by John Roberts)

    3rd Section

1st - Nelson Brass (Conducted by Jon North) 181 points (Call of the Sea)
2nd - Lostock Hall Memorial Band (Conducted by Kenneth Rollins) 179 points (Music from Kantara)
    3rd - Thornton Cleveleys 178 points
    4th - Eccleston Brass

Well done to Nelson, a good result having just come up from the 4th section.

It was also nice to see a few tMPers there, be interested to know how Sparky, Leisa and Geordiecolin got on.

Anybody else see me sat in the bar with my tMP shirt on? :)

THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY HI???

    1st Section
    1. Freckleton (Paul Dalton) Of Men and Mountains.
    2. Dobcross (Dennis Hadfield) English Heritage.
    3. Wingates (Roy Curran) English Heritage.

    2nd Section
1st Blackpool Brass (Steve Simpson) Five Blooms in a Welsh Garden.

Don't know the rest, the bar was too good!

From the bands I heard, the results in these 2 sections seemed spot on. I only missed one top section band, and I had this order. Well done to Freck!

Andy Cat, Fairey (FP Music) Band.

Ah, Kenneth... harmless, side-splitting fun. :)

The number of people who said, "Oh, chips, thanks.... ugh, they're cold!"
