The contest results are on the SBBA website now.

Another Kingdom win, can no-one stop them? Quite a closely fought contest this year with fine performances from several bands. Well done to the prize winners.

What did each band play? Anyone got any ideas?

    - I know of one band that was using their piece as a pre-test for the Scottish Open ... so sorry, I won't way who or what was played by them ;)

    ^ say?

I know Lochgelly played Endeavour by Philip Sparke and Tullis played the piece they played at the Nationals the other week. Any others anyone?

Fair enough, but there arnt all that many bands there that are playing in the Scottish Open ;) From what I have heard Dunfermline Town played Kaliedoscope (sp?) by Sparke.

 ... that's what I meant to type! Mind you, it was an odd decision to hold the contest outside the county that hosts it! No halls available?

The Scottish Open being an own choice contest would reveal competitors to any adjudicators browsing tMP.

    - some of the bands are included in the line-up here!

  9. From what I can gather, it was a case of money.
