Soprano cornet player Nigel Fielding has left Brighouse and Rastrick Band leaving a vacancy within the band.

Nigel played an important part in the band winning two ‘Brass in Concert’ titles and added significantly to the quality of concerts and other contest performances throughout his three years with the band. He will be sorely missed both as a player and as a personality within the band having been incredibly well liked by everyone.

The band wish Nigel well for the future in whatever playing endeavours he is involved in.
