Favourite piece types

    Do you prefer Loud/quiet, fast/slow, melodical/high brow, Test piece/concert piece etc..............

    A good old march for me (Wizard, ORB, Mephi etc.) or a classic pot boiler (Kingdom Triumphant, Procession to the minster, Marche Slave etc.)

    I love test pieces and good concert big finishers
    Firebird etc

    Cheese all the way! If its cheesy its on my favorites list. I dont mind mature cheese or processed cheese, fromage it is.

    Traditional Brass for me, I don't like playing this new swing stuff, Don't mind listening to it, just don't like playing it.
    Played Stephen Roberts arrangement of Londonderry air for 5 parts on the weekend. Fantastic.

    Modern test pieces generally, a lot of the older stuff has very little for bass trom to really stuck into.
