A coffee house in Vienna in December. -15 outside, hot coffee with schnapps and cakes inside. And the promise of hot potato cakes on the way home.

In the U.K. my favourite spot is high on the cliffs at Sennen Cove, near Lands End.

In Canada it would be a toss up between the Rockies in Banff National Park and Cape Spear, Newfoundland (the Eastern most point in Canada).

my favourite place... well i have 2... but my most favourite place... would have to be... about a 15min walk from my house... u get a stunning view on a clear day... you can see right over to the welsh mountains (or hills or woteva) n if u look in the other direction you can see all the way to blackpool, and you can see all of southport too!

New Zealand, I went out there for three weeks on a band tour in jully and absolutly fell in love with the place. I made some great friends and still keep in touch.
I'm making plans to move out there after my PGCE year.
    Its an awesome country!!

I haven't been to Vienna yet, so I'll say Munich and Salzburg are on my list.

I like San Diego and Baja California.

Dover is nice on the coast as is South Bass Island on Lake Erie (but not in the winter!!)

Of places I haven't been yet...I'd like to go to Coasta del Sol in Spain and some place in Norway.

Over the last couple of years I've spent an awful lot of time at my favourite place, and have virtually lived there full time, - its only a little corner in the big wide world, but I really enjoy just being there.

    The place . . . . . .

    . . . . tMP Land.

Singapore - it's wonderful - clean, tidy, cheap and the education is great.
I'd love to live there but would never move - but would never have the guts!!!

Sorry to break it to you but we do get ice and snow but only up in the mountain ranges. Where I live the average temp range is about 14 in winter to 26 in summer. We get a few 40+ days too!
You and Six Pints just want to come for the beaches! ;)

I would love to live in the UK one day but only for the music. Couldn't stand the weather!

Gooood, that's far enough for me

Like the sound of where you live... sounds bareable to me!

My housemate is from Aussy and he's never seen snow before... he's been quite excited about when we get it big time here within the next couple of months....

The impression I've got from my housemate, is that our rain isn't as bad as what it gets where you are... Our so-called "heavy rain" is like a shower to you guys  just gets colder here in winter :) (and not so hot here in summer) ;-)
