Definitely anything by Madness - they were the kings of the video and were probably the first to really use it properly. My favorites are Shut Up and Michael Caine.

Others? Well I reckon the A-ha Take on Me video was pretty seminal, and I seem to remember at the same time that Dire Straits' released the Brothers in Arms video which had similar and effective animation. And a few more to list:

The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony. (Richard Ashcroft as the worlds rudest man - I mean, all that barging into people...)
REM - Everybody hurts. (Great song, great video)
    Pulp - Common people.
    Madonna - Like a Prayer.
    Radiohead - No suprises.

EDIT: Blimey, A-ha, Dire Straits all in one post. My credibilty has just gone well and truely down the toilet...
