Kitchen appliances is always a good one (all you need are large boxes and some paint).

dress as santa clauses!! i did that for my 18th last april, and got a few funny looks, cant imagine why...

disney charectrs also fun, in my lifetime ive also done hawaiian (not very original), wild west (ditto), pjama party (saves getting dressed for bed when u get home), a whole "bondage" type theme  , three legged things (get tied to someone and stay like that whole night (works well for mixed groups), and a few more...

good luck, hope it goes well!

Go Naked :D , has many plus points (not only for you  )

    a) you wont have to pay to hire fancy dress
    b) you'll get plenty of attention!
    c) the above point will lead to lots of donations

Crayola Crayons are always good for a laugh. Use big sheets of coloured cardboard

    Also try:

Making up your own film characters - I once went as one of the "Ice Warriors"

    Brownies and Cubs

    Tarts and Vicars

    General Cross Dressing

    Soldiers

You might not be able to go as post cards - unless you're VERY thin.

    Parcels, maybe....

To be in keeping with PO deliveries, however, you'd have to do your walk a week late..

(with appologies to any posties on here: I'm sure its not your fault 8) )
