A couple of saturdays ago we played at Lovebox dance festival in London, playing the acid brass repertoir. It's set up by Groove Armada, and we were headlining the Lost Vagueness stage, which is where all the underground bands played. I just wanted to say it was amazing! Its not often you get to play to a crowd like that in a brass band, and it just goes to show that brass bands can appeal to a younger audience. The atmosphere was amazing! Is it dumbing down? My answer would be, "if it's this much fun, how can it be?!". Does anyone else have any oppinions on this? I hope we do some more of these, it makes a nice change from our more serious side. Bring on Glastonbury!!
