    Whilst I agree with the last point, (and would add "less contesting" at the end), the real star of the entire series for me was young Alex - would that there were more like him in every bandroom in the country. Never mind Sue Perkins, Dr Childs, Grimey or anyone else - youngsters like him must be nurtured and encouraged.

    Going on the assumption that any publicity is good publicity, the series has pushed the issues, good and bad, into the living rooms of people all over the country. Good luck to Dinnington, and all the other "little" bands, many of whom are struggling to survive. Loss of sponsorship is not cause for bands to fold all the time there are people like the members of Dinnington around. :clap::clap::clap:

    I totally agree. What a little gem he is. Great playing ethic. I hope he develops into a fine player.

    I think Black Dyke or Cory should sign her up.....wait a minute.......
