Yeah its that time of year again:clap:

Worth watching for Wogan commentary alone:rolleyes:

Shame that its become a Eurovision performance contest.

    Any predictions people?

My only hope is that Israel get nil points

Yup! I predict that I'll be going out on Saturday to avoid tuning in to the bilge that is the Eurovision Song Contest! ;)

    That's always a good plan :D

We'll be sampling the delights of Wem and so will unfortunately miss it.

One of the members of the band that's representing Belgium works at the same company as me! I only know him by face though. I think he's a software programmer. He certainly looks very different in his disco-suit... :s

So long as they don't turn it on until we've finished tea

Cunningly we're booked in the pub for 8pm which is going to be around the time it starts.....hopefully they'll do the traditional pub thing of having the pics on with no sound (if it's on at all) or I'll have to skew the balance so badly that Craig makes me go deaf

    You don't know you've been born (yet ;) ).

Shame you'll be missing the lay in on Sunday seeing as you take the other bands - mind, if you force me to watch the Eurovision I may well have to develop a migraine....

:redface:My playing will do that for you!

its been a while since i've had the pleasure of a lay in, especially since the nipper has been playing:frown:
fortunately though you wont have to suffer me on the saturday evening as i'll be at home helping Mrs. sop enjoy her birthday:p

Why? have the people singing their entry upset you in some way?

Or is it a really terrible song?

I think our Eurovision entry is brill! I can't wait. I know we'll probably get nil points but so what we usually do anyway!

Last time I saw it was in France a couple of years ago. It was much better without that Wogan git. Not actually good, just much better than our version.

Old Tel makes the show. It's a pile of **** until he starts to get drunk, and starts taking the **** out of the songs. Let's face it, the songs are ****e. Having listened to his Breakfast Show, I think he'll be drinking early tomorrow. He doesn't seem to be enjoying Helsinki.
