I reckon the above event will be great this time round.

What with YBS, Faireys and Cory going it should be a brilliant contest. Not to mention some of the other Euro bands like Stavanger & Willebroek who I think will be going to. Scottish Co-op should be there as Scots champs also.

Plus it's in Glasgow which is only a bit further away than the RAH for me, so I think I will go.

What do we reckon? You thinking of going? Surely YBS can't do Concerto Grosso again! Although with the competition getting so tight, can they find anything harder?!?

    They might do Apocalypse.

World of Brass will be there, of course, as we'll be doing another DVD.

When in 2004? I'm moving to Isle of Arran next April and it won't take me too long to get to Glasgow from there. I'd certainly like to go!

Well done World of Brass for doing another DVD

What's the prospect of having more actual contest performances on the 2004 one? I really enjoyed the Bergen 2003 one, excellent was just a little disapointing to hear alot of soloists and music that we have heard before. Good idea showing Stavanger and Eikanger but alot of the Cory stuff (no matter how well they played) was still a bit familiar.

Not sure what anyone else thinks?
