I'm after some solos ideas for concerts/entertainment contests, After logging on to youtube, Harlequin by Philip Sparke sounds good so does Carmen fantasy. Does anyone know where I can pick up Solo parts to these, or any ideas?
I dont want to subject the band to a large music bill if I can't play them!

You can view the PDF for harlequin on the website.

I guess you could just buy the pieces with piano accompaniment rather than shell out for the band parts, then decide if you like them. I played the Carmen Fantasy for my final recital for my degree ( though it was slightly different as it was the flute version!!). Have fun with whatever you choose. :)

Bravura or Brilliante haven't been played for the last 5 minutes or so...

Heres my attempt at Carmen at a concert last week. And to show you where a possible cut lies, the whole thing is just soooo long!
