 Who is the most technicaly able Euphonium player in Wales?
Because there are no end of obvious choices?!!
Hmmm, not a thread with much to go on eh regarding what aspects of technical ability you are after.
I'd plum for Mark Hutch - BTM personally.
If he's better than the one I'm thinking of he must be more than a bit special....!!
I can also think of one. Just came home from his wedding. At the very least, he's the best Euphonium in Bassaleg by a comfortable margin.
Is this a cryptic thread or something????
Only one name mentioned so far!!
 If that's Welsh BORN & BRED then.....
Ceri John of Burry Port Town Band is the best. Amazing player who is a musician as well as a technician. He is home grown talent and remains loyal to the band where he began playing - and what a great geezer. The best thing about Ceri is that he doesn't let his natural ability go to his head.
Great sound, marvellous musicality.
David Childs followed by Robert Childs.
Bob Childs by miles for me. What you hear on the childs brothers cds etc. is only 10% of what he could do in his prime. Hearing him " warm up" at a joint concert years ago was just the most awesome display of technique I have ever heard.
Separate names with a comma.
