In October the Ipswich and Norwich co-op Band are undertaking a 'Malcolm Arnold Memorial Concert' in Attleborough, the town where he spent his latter years.

I would like to perform some of the 'English Dances' in the concert and know that they were arranged for Brass Band. I'm getting the run-around from the publisher. I have been offered the complete two 'sets' at £200 but this is way too expensive for us. Wondered if anybody had a set in their library we could borrow for the concert.

If anybody is able to help please PM me.

    Thanks a lot

Tried to get hold of this about 2 years ago with absolutely no success. They are available for hire - at some exorbitant cost! The only band I know that has them is Grimethorpe, and they never replied to my e-mails. We also tried via the arranger, Ray Farr, but even he couldn't get hold of it!
