One of my keyboards at work has a health warning on it...

"Some experts warn that the use of any keyboard for extended periods can cause serious injury"

And my boss still won't let me take the reccommended 15 minutes break out of every hour

If there's a greater number than infinity, there's your answer to THAT question, folks! Payn by name, pain by nature... my family motto (actually, it's wrong to bring my family into this. It's not their fault. It's MY motto! I'm the one and only. Indeed, why have 'champagne' when you've got a REAL Payn here! Arf, arf.)

Thought I'd 'bale' myself out of that one, Peter. Hay ho! ;-)

Who asked you, pasty? ;-)

(Here's a possibility for another thread, Naomi: 'If there's one gag about your name which could have ensured your retirement had you received a pound for every time you'd heard it; which one would it be? ;-) ;-)

I can see right through you, Payn, and as for making fun of my name, well that's the final straw :!:

    yeeees....
But Dave, if I was to impressed by gags like that- it would have to be something I haven't heard before... then I'll retire! ;-)

I think I made up most of the recent gags on my surname, Naomi! Talking of 'Cornish', there's a player who now pervades Becontree Brass (ex Crystal Palace in the days when I was there) by the name of Graeme Cornish. Those two words are just an anagrammer's dream. I came up with about 35 of them (mostly rude. Couldn't blame me, it was the way the letters turned out!)

You're not his sister are you...... ;-)

Surname wasn't my problem. Imagine having to go through school with a name that phonetically is 'Knickerless'. Great fun. Plus my Dad was a policeman, so, with the obvious Nick connections as well, there was no escape for me!
