Just recently performed a concert with the band, and we all felt afterward that several of the pieces went off extremely well, better than ever previously performed by this group.

Unfortunately, due to a glitch with the recording equipment, none of it was captured. The same recording gear has been used many times in the past with no problems. Just a simple case of "pilot error".

Sorry to hear of your frustration....

This is the reason that when recordings like this are done commercially, at least one layer of redundant backup is used...so if something 'falls over' you've always got another source to use....

Of course, if you forget to turn it on.. ;)

Thanks for this, very interesting. Just in case you were interested to know, I replaced the batteries in my sky remote the other day, as they were flat.

I'm not sure of the exact details on how it happened, as I was not directly involved. I do know the same equipment setup had been used on several previous events with no problems, but somehow this time literally nothing was captured.
