Hi, Our band is looking to buy a replacement case for one of our EEb bass players. The only criteria being it needs to have wheels!! Anyone out there got any good advice or suggestions? Many thanks
the same case is available here for £200 less with free postage and no import duty: http://www.thomann.de/gb/jakob_winter_jw_2093_ebtubakoffer.htm For a while they were selling the surplus York tuba cases for £150 which were identical to the sovereign ones, but they seem to have run out.
Give Johnathon a ring at Wessex TUBAS or go on website, their Wessex EEb case will fit a sovereign or Besson,I like the Wessex cases as they are not too heavy and the wheels are very good.
We sold two basses earlier this year, but kept the cases. They're Besson hard cases with wheels, one is in a fair condition and the other is in excellent condition. They're about 10 ten years old. We're in Bolton, but you can have the two at a very reasonable price (button most likely, but will need to speak to the committee) as they're clogging the bandroom up! PM me if you're interested and i'll get a price from the committee.
