I'm hopeless with computers and the like, (i'm from Buxton what do you expect!!!)

I'm trying to help my fiance flog some CCTV equipment he has and thought about putting it on Ebay, but I haven't a clue what you do, is there anyone out there thats a bit more cluded up on it than me. Is there better websites or somewhere else we can advertise.

I've got the photos and descriptions etc. I'm worried about all the postage and packaging etc as they are specialist and delicate items, what do you do as a price etc!

I just haven't a clue what you do and i have spoken to friends who also have no idea

    Please help!!

Without knowing exactly what you're selling it's difficult to be precise but most things can be packaged safe enough to be posted - I've sent antique glass items around the world with only 2 damaged pieces.
I suggest that you package up the items and then check the weight/size and get prices for delivery - you can always over-estimate and offer a refund if the actual postage is much less. Parcel2go.com offer some good rates and alternative services.
If you're worried about postage you can always list them as pick-up only.
Generally eBay is a great place to buy and sell.
    Good luck

Make sure that you set a reserve price to match evaluation. If necessary, research what is the expected selling price for the gear and reserve accordingly.
