YBS Concert have a full line up for the Yorkshire Area Contest in march except for an Eb Bass. The test piece is Voyage of Discovery by Goff Richards.

We practice in Bradford, very close to the M62, Huddersfield, Halifax, Leeds, etc.

We have an instrument and can organise lifts if needed. We are a friendly band and practice in a Working Mens Club and there's always a good laugh in the bar after.

We would like to hear from anyone who could help us out temporarily for the contest or on a long term basis.

Anyone interested can reply to this or PM me.

  4. Yup,

Hope there are plenty of Eb bass players lookin at this!! We play some great concerts through the year as well (our next is in Bradford Cathedral), and a few contests inc Whit Fridays.

    Eb Position

I am told the bass parts are very good, if a little high. There is a bass quartet at one point.
