I am looking for a dvd of The Young Person's Guide To The Orchesta, but so far have had no luck.
Is there anybody out there who knows where I might find a copy?

Also I am looking for Carnival of the Animals, narrated by Johnny Morris (Animal Magic fame). I know it was out ages ago, but has anyone come across it on DVD?

    Many thanks

I haven't been able to find either of these yet, although I have found some CD / Cassette versions of the Carnival of the Animals, with Johnny Morris narrating. [Off-topic] I bet that is fantastic, I might have to buy a copy myself! I used to have an LP  of him narrating the Railway Stories and that was brilliant too! [/Off-topic]

Have you tried your local HMV? They will have a copy of the Gramophone catalogue (or whatever the DVD equivalent is called) and if these are available, they should be listed. Your local library might also have a copy of the catalogue too.

The Johnny Morris "Carnival" only seems to be available on cd.

There is at least one dvd version of "Young person's Guide", though: the Malcolm Sargent film has been released by Beulah, and is advertised here:
