I am currently playing on an Alliance 2 (Cornet) model wich I borrowed from a colleague at NLBB.
Since I am looking to buy myself a new mouthpiece i was wondering what the difference is between the Alliance 2 and the Alliance RM2:

    - Is there a difference in Rim contour, rim width, throad and backbore?
    - In wich way shall the RM2 improve my playing compared to the 2?

There is a certain amount of info on Roger Webster's (Alliance Products) website. The Alliance 2 and RM2 cup sizes appear to be the same, but there is no other documentation re contour etc.
