Am thinking things are getting somewhat fraught and serious on here so felt the need for a truly silly, yet still (slightly) thought-provoking thread!

You are trapped on a desert island and are only allowed one piece of cutlery. What would you have and why? :dunno

    Stroke of genius!!!

I'd take a fish slice (if that counts). Ideal for bashing things with.

A steak knife, so it can be used to carve a full set!

Spoon because so far tonight I have made tea, buttered and cut toast all with a spoon! Imagine the potential for digging and there's always the handle!

Actually maybe not a fish slice... a ladle.

For the 'spoon' reasons above, but a ladle hs a larger surface area.

I'd take a spork. A combination tool like that ought to be useful and you can stab things with it as well

Are we allowed combinations then? In that case, I would take a spifrk with fold-out yacht.

    Easy!

That's cheating..... fold-out yacht indeed! In that case I want a knoork with an aeroplane in the handle!!!!

If that's all it takes to make you all delicate you might want to see your GP. Or a psychiatrist????;)
