In his article on adjudication (on the 4BarsRest website) I see that Derek Broadbent says that a 'perusal' of a 'spread of results' reveals that bands which get drawn early are not disadvantaged when it comes to the results.

I'm not much bothered about contests myself, but if I was I think I would want the powers that be to do more than merely 'peruse' a few results. In these days when we have statisticians capable of working out rankings, perhaps they ought to be applying themselves to a statistical analysis of draw and results. The outcome of such an exercise would be a lot more convincing than a mere perusal.

I also have a feeling I know what the result might be............
