    I just received this email:

    "Hello Tom,
Thanks for your message. The */Heritage/* tenor horn mouthpieces are now finished and will be available within a week or so when the specially made boxes are ready.
I designed 4 new models, which also appear in the regular shape. they are 4, 2A, 1 and 1A. They have been thoroughly tested (I became a tenor horn player for a few hours!) by players at all levels and seem to work very well.
    Best regards,
    Denis Wick"

Any one else tried one of these?

I have heard some good reports... but personally I would try one yourself and see...

Will these eventually replace our good old sizes 2, 3 and 5? Hope not!!

If they are better, why not? :)

Going by the way the cornet mouthpieces have been going, the Heritage models will be offered alongside the regular mouthpieces, not instead.
Likewise the new mouthpiece sizes - they will be in addition, not replacing, the traditional models.
