Denham Hendon Brass (DHB) spent part of their New Years Evening in an unusual manner, entertaining guests of the actor Robert Lindsay and Rosemary Ford at their wedding held in Denham Village. "We led the guests from the church to the wedding reception playing Jingle Bells and got thoroughly soaked in the rain. The couple wanted a selection of Christmas carols played at the reception and we entertained all their guests including numerous celebrities such as Zoe Wannamaker, his on screen wife in "My Family" said DHB's euphonium, Martin Smith. "Bill Cotton, former head of BBC light entertainment was so engrossed in our playing he spent all our playing time in amongst our bass section! " DHB are a first section band that rehearse in Denham and are significantly growing their high level of musical activities and are always on the look out for good quality players. Good national coverage of the wedding was in The Daily Mail today, where the band were mentioned and in The Sun.
