Death of Geoff Whitham.

  1. From 1956 to 1960 I was employed in Bradford at Sharp & Law's shopfitters (up Marlboro Road) and for a while I worked alongside Geoff,he was always a friendly sort of a guy and I enjoyed his friendship during our employment time,I remember him telling me after the famous 1959 championships that the Black Dyke players had to pay for their own new uniforms prior to competing, (this was the championship that Geoff got the world famous accolades from the judges for his outstanding performance.)......I also went to the Festival Theatre in Adelaide where I now live to see Hammond Sauceworks Band perform and I was hoping to speak to him there but unfortunately I was unable to reach him.
