Carlton Brass are sad to announce the passing of former Bass Trombonist and Conductor Peter Dunkin.
Peter died, aged 59, on February 26 after a six-year battle with mouth cancer.

Peter played the bass trombone for Carlton Brass, Calverton Colliery, Bestwood Black Diamonds, Nottingham City Transport Band and the Nottingham Jazz Orchestra.

His funeral will be held at St Paul's Church, in Church Street, Carlton, on Monday, March 16 at 1:15 pm. Followed by a burial at Carlton Cemetery and a wake to be held at his brother's pub the Old Volunteer, Carlton.

The family has asked for donations to be made to Cancer Research UK.

If any of Peters ex-band mates are available , Carlton Brass will be putting a band together for the funeral. Please contact our conductor Paul Watson on 07540 536 768 if you can help.
