Danish National anthem

    We have taken a job this fri and have just been told that there is going to be some big wigs from Danish Air Force and they require the national anthem.Can anyone help?

    Hello David, I have some good news and some bad news.

    GOOD NEWS There are two Danes in Flixton band.

    BAD NEWS They are in Denmark until Thursday!

    I always use http://david.national-anthems.net/ as it has the current and older versions of National Anthems along with the words, as well as the free download of the music and midi files.

    The civil national anthem is called 'Der er et yndigt land' composed by Krøyer and later rearranged by Carl Nielsen and others.

    If any member of the danish Royal family is present the Royal Anthem has to be played. That is called 'Kong Christian stod ved højen mast'.
