I would imagine that the choice of name for the Beckhams newest family member, is to ensure that the one brain cell they appear to share can be reminded of their summer holiday this year.

Taxi Driver to David Beckham " Where you going on holiday this year?"
Beckham "What's the names of our Children?"
"yeah, that's it, we're going on a cruise!!!!!!"

    ^What he said!

What worries me is that n a few years' time we're going to be teaching a generation peppered with these stupid and illiterate name choices.

These people are role models. I despair.

I think the Beckham's should move to Holland, where it is illegal to call your child by anything other than a recognised name. Dennis Bergkamp given name was originally going to be spelt with one N as in Denis Law, but the Dutch authority advised Mr & Mrs B that it had to be spelt with two or they would have to choose another name. Would this be whay there are no Chavs in Holland?

Didn't this used to be true in France, only the names had to be names of saints?
    Or did I dream it...
