I have been thinking about Brass Band cornets lately. Of the current cornets made today, what would be a reasonable "top ten" list?

I know many people have their favorites. But if you had to select a 2nd or 3rd choice (on down to 10th) what would it be? I would love to get a top ten list for comparison sake.

Feel free to list your favorite and with as many others as you like that you have or would consider.

Here is one list given to me:

Lawler (large bore, red brass bell)
    Besson Prestige
Besson Sovereign (large bore, especially the older models)
Yamaha Maestro (I believe only available in the U.K.)
    Getzen 800 (large bore)
    Getzen 3850
    Kanstul (large bore/shepherd's crook)

    1. Taylor Zeus, large bore, satin gold finish, more options than I can list (or afford! :( )

    2. Taylor Orpheus, ML bore, satin gold finish, more options than I can list (or afford! :( )

    3. Smith Watkins

    4. Schilke, more so for Eb than Bb

    5. Besson Prestige, large bore, bright silver plate

    6. Besson Sovereign 928, large bore, bright silver plate - but an OLDER model

    7. Courtois

    8. Bach Stradivarius, large bore, bright silver plate w/ gold plate kit and gem finger buttons and bell engraving
