Anyone got any ideas for Cornet Trios that are relatively new to the repetoire?

Players are about third section standard

Do you mean three cornets plus band or three cornets alone?

If you are looking for three cornets alone then look out for the Mimram Clarinet trios. Great value and they don't go into the stratosphere. Sometimes you need to adjust the third part up an octave in some bars because they go too low.

These are not new compositions, but as S.A. trio's they may be new to your repertoire:

    The Victors - Bruce Broughton
    The Trumpeters - Kenneth Cook
    The Veterans - Ray Steadman-Allen
    Cheer Up - ??? (I can't remember the composer)
The Heralds - Philip Catelinet (Might be beyond your scope but it's a great trio)

12 street rag is a good third section cornet trio.
