PolySteel Bands principal cornet Chris Howley will be appearing on BBC 1's 'The One Show' this Tuesday and Wednesday (30th & 31st October, 7.00pm). Joined by television presenter Angelica Bell, they will be taking a tour around Gloucestershire's Woodchester Mansion as part of a two part paranormal investigation into the 'fear factor phenomenon'.
Chris is a founder member of the Gloucestershire Paranormal Research Group which was founded in 2003. The group are currently in the middle of an ongoing investigation at the mansion, which is reputedly one of the most haunted buildings in the UK and have experienced first hand the strange goings on that makes this building a unique attraction among paranormal investigators up and down the British Isles.

We were supposed to be on a few weeks back, they were coming up to film us marching because they were doing a bit of a feature on the tv mast in our village and we'd used the grounds it's in to rehearse for Whit Friday, but alas, the very week they were due to come up to film, Robbie Coltraine featured it in his B Road Britain program on ITV so they shelved the idea for a while as it was a bit pointless the mast being featured on two different channels in the same week. :(

And there with it went my 15 minutes of fame.
Gee thanks Mr. Warhole, are you sure everyone wasn't due to get 2 lots of their 15 mins of fame??

Typical tv. Our band were supposed to be on the local news last week. They came down to film us the week before the Nationals including interviewing some band members. We eventually only made it onto the morning news during GMTV.
