Hi all ive been out of the music world for sometime now and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for a cornet solo my 8 year old daughter could play? She has a good range and isn't a bad player for her age group, I'm just stuck for ideas!
    Thank you

    Presumably with piano accompaniment?

Maybe there's something in "29 cornet solo's and 3 encores" (Walter Beeler) - really great book to have. Used it a lot doing solo competitions as a kid (especially "O promise me", "Solvejg's Song", "Due bist die ruh" and "My heart at thy sweet voice"), the easier ones are pretty accessible and the more difficult ones are good to grow into.
