    Hi all,

I moved to Coventry at the back end of last year and I was hoping to be able to join a nearby band (within 30-40 miles) on either front or back row.

So if you are in (or know of) a friendly contesting band that has a cornet vacancy let me know!

Hi, we are a friendly and fun first section contesting band and are currently looking for a cornet player. We rehearse in Ibstock, Junction 22 M1, therefore Ibstock Brick Brass. We rehearse Mondays and Thursdays 8-10pm. If you are interested, let me know and good luck!

WestMercia are adjacent to M5, junction 6 is 4minutes from bandroom. We are currently 3rd section and will be 2nd section in Jan. 2007. You would be welcome to come along. We rehearse at Police H.Q. Hindlip Hall on Mondays, 7.30-10pm, and socialise afterwards in adjacent social club. Mileage allowance is paid for rehearsals and engagements, so you would not be out of pocket. Like all bands we are a pretty sociable crowd. There are a number of similar bands in this area. Best of luck

    Dai Francis. Sec. 01495 303120 or 07884 240415

Rich, why not come along to rehearsal Mon & Thurs. Rehearse at Jaguar Social Club, Allesley.

We've got quite a busy schedule as we are preparing for RAH in October then fly out to Chicago for 8 days in early November.

Hope it works out well for you - just a pity you've missed out on getting your picture in BBW ;)
