    Hi all

I'm looking for a few suggestions for Cornet Duets

the only one i can think of is playmates !

preferrably something relatively easy (duet and band parts)

    cornet duet

Another easier cornet duet to try is valse caprice, band and cornet parts not to bad, similar standard to playmates, but i prefer the golden oldie "ida & dot polka" however it's not easy.

Not sure of composer or publisher but there was a cornet duet popular in the late 80's called Twin Peaks. Not technically difficult but a beautiful tune.

Composer is Anthony Wakefield, I believe this piece is for sale on his Sibelius Music page.

How about The Flower Duet, from Lakme, arranged by Philip Sparke? Lovely piece
of music and not too hard, except for the bit from C onwards when it goes into 6 flats :)

There is a duet for sop and Bb cornet called "Two of the tops", Its not particularly challenging technically, but its ok to listen to.
    Good luck in your search
