    hello friends,

    isn't the english langwije wundafull? i thought in a moment of excruciating bordom i thought what fun it would be to think up amusing collective nouns for the band world. you know what collective nouns are readers don't you
    things like....
    a herd of sheep
    a parliament of owls
    a rye of pheasants
    a figet of alterboys......

    anyway, shall i start the ball rolling?

    how about
    a dragging of BBb bass players

    a gag of spennymoor visitors

    ho ho

    a fluther of flugels (fluther is a group of jellyfish)
    a sounder of horns (sounder is a group of wild swine)
    a covey of baritones (covey is a group of quail)
    a tower of trombones (tower is a group of giraffes)
    a bevy of Bass players (bevy is another term for a group of quails - but we no the basses are the best at consuming the most of it ;) SEE
    a drumming of percussionists (a drumming is a group of grouse)

    .....I suppose a good close look at a few of them should resolve the issue.
