    Wish I could get there... it would be great to see David again (he was bass trom at City of Oxford a few years ago when I was bari/percussion there) Say "Hi" from me, will you?

    I would also like to get there, mainly to support Dave Read - he used to play 2nd trombone to me in GUS (Travelsphere at the time). Sadly I'm working that day, so can't make it. Hope it all goes well, especially the Buxton Orr. I was lucky enough to record some of his wind band music a few years back and enjoyed it immensely. Shame the composer burst into the studio to thank the band in the middle of a 'take'!

    Great concert all round last night with City of London Winds. David was in fine form in the Concerto and the high solo in the Berlioz.

    Recording of the premiere of Winter Song & Spring Dances is now on line;
