Following on from the other Christmas music thread (from which I picked up a couple of excellent tips - thanks) can anyone recommend some good solo arrangements of Christmas pieces? Has anyone played Alan Fernies arrangement of In the bleak mid winter for tenor horn?
    Ta for now
    Steve;)

    I don't play bass trombone.

But I'll give Frosty a go any year.

Now then Kidlington Dave, I was reliably informed you had a hatred of **** cheesy music and yet here you are in the public domain calling for Frosty to be played. It's in the libraary and it's staying there!

    Christmas percussion solo

Anyone know of a Christmas solo for glock , xylo of vibes? Not too difficult though, as we've lots of other work on. A nice plinky plonky one would do!

Seems like the time to get on the bandwagon - anyone know a decent Euphonium sol for christmas other than "O Holy Night"

Also just picked up "I saw three ships" BBb Bass solo!

good thread, it's always tough to find stand up items in the festive period!

The trombone solo arrangement of Silent Night is very nice, if a little high in places.
