    Hi Folks,

Just to let you all know that due to popular demand we will be holding another 'Bumper Christmas Quiz' this year which will be launched on 18th December.

The tMP Team have donated £100 as part of the first prize plus loads of other great prizes from many of our respected composers, arrangers and sponsors.

The closing date will be midnight on New Years Eve and the winners will be announced on New Years Day.

It sure is, along with other pieces and goodies donated from Philip Sparke, Darrol Barry, Nigel Hall (MII Music), Tim Paton, Gerry at Lake Music Publications, Phil Lawrence and Ben Tubb.

Of course, if anyone is feeling left out and would like to donate a prize towards this quiz competition please feel free to PM me or post in this thread.

*May be a bit cheeky here* :D

Any chance of putting the quiz up a bit before the 18th December for those of us who'll be leaving uni to a house back home without the internet??? Only needs to be maybe a day or so...

Could at least then jot the questions down before going home.
Thought i'd be cheeky and at least ask! ;)

    Cheers :p

    No Chris,

You'll just have to suffer sitting upstairs in KFC with a bargain bucket working the quiz out when you get back to Hudds :)

Although my publishing business is not yet set up, I am willing to donate (In Sibelius format)

    (a) Wedding March from A Midsummer Night's Dream (Mendelssohn arr. Payn) for brass sextet - Three cornets/trumpets, (lead part is Eb trumpet/cornet) Horn, Euph, Bass (Well, YWD said they liked it! :) - band or orchestral brass instrumentation catered for)

    (b) Trumpet Voluntary (Clarke arr. Payn) for brass dectet, with two Eb trumpets/cornets carrying the solo line. Again, band or orchestral brass parts available.

    Hope this is OK.
