Looking for something to do inside while it's bitterly cold in the midwest U.S.? The CBB Players
will present two concerts in February featuring great
brass ensemble music. The first is on Friday,
February 6th at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts
Center at Harper College, 1200 W. Algonquin Road,
Palatine, IL. This performance is part of the Harper
College Cultural Arts Series. The second is on
Sunday, February 8th at 3:00 p.m. at the Evanston
Public Library, 1703 Orrington Ave., Evanston, IL.

Both programs include Gabrieli Canzonas, Handel's
Music for the Royal Fireworks, the lighthearted Brass
Cats Suite by Hazell, Carmichael's Star Dust,
featuring horn soloist Charley Payette, and more.

The CBB Players are 10 highly accomplished musicians
dedicated to performing the finest in brass
literature, both original and arranged, in different
settings and instrumentations. Members of the CBB
Players also perform with the Chicago Brass Band,
    directed by Dr. Colin Holman.
