Hi the band is looking for a front rank cornet player to join our band

We are primarily a concert band although we do enter the Area contest each year ( currently third section with consistent results (and had we not missed last year's Area due to it clashing with school hols and gained a 14 point penalty we would now probably have been promoted)

The band is made up of people from all walks of life and few actually now work for the Police. We always have a busy concert schedule but only rehearses once a week so will suit many with busy lives outside banding.

We rehearse each Thursday at Winsford 7.30-9.30 with excellent rehearsal facilties.

The band is looking forward to a great 4 day visit to Germany in September and any new member will be coming along!

Any questions please ring Dave on 0785 789 5674

Realy hoping we can find a Bass player to join the band, also looking for a good tutti cornet player. Why not come down for a blow to see if you like the band, I am sure once through the door , you will. Cheers Dave

We are looking for a couple of cornet players. We would ideally be looking for a tutti cornet and someone for the back rank. We are looking for who is loves his/her banding and is able to attend regularily. The band is a really friendly bunch made up almost entirely of members from outside the Police but who are delighted to represent the force. We are a smart band with pride in all we do. Weare not a prolific contesting band ( usually just enter the Area each year) but are set to move up to second section in January. We only rehearse once a week but have a pretty varied engagement list. Germany in September ( for the second time in three years ) and we have attended 2 Nations in the last 4 years so quite an active band. If you are interested why not come down and see if you like it. Cheers Dave
