I'm having huge problems getting hold of this book. So many websites- including the 'main' ones- advertise it, but then you order it and will receive an email within a few days saying 'actually, we haven't got it in stock and the supplier can't tell us when or even if we will get some more'. This has happened to me several times now! Has anyone got a copy I could buy off them or have any idea where I can get one from? If so I would be most grateful, I've been drawing blanks for ages now! Thank you.

Have you tried getting hold of a copy from the US? Based on experience I tend to shop online from stores in the US - they usually have much more choice and music actually in stock as oppose to some UK shops who just seem to list a large number of items in their catalogue but without actually having a physical copy in stock.

The Colin book is still a very widely used textbook and I shouldn't think that you would have much of a problem getting hold of a copy. I'd start by going to www.hickeys.com who are one of the largest and most reputable sources for sheet music in the US (I've been using them for a few years now and never had any problems). You might also try Dillon Music Inc. www.dillonmusic.com who are one of the largest (if not the largest) brass instrument specialists in the US. I'm sure that they will have a copy.

I bought mine in the sale in Blackwells in Oxford a couple of years ago, completely by chance - only time I've been to Oxford as an adult, and only time (as far as I know) I've been into Blackwells. You never know, they may have another copy!!

Its listed here on June Emerson's web site.

Strange as I thought this was where our copy came from, but ours has a sticker on the front with "Elkin Music 01603 721302" on it. Having looked on the site though, it doesn't come up in the search. :dunno
