It is with regret that Old Hall Brass announces the departure of Trevor Halliwell as their MD.

Trevor, who originally said he would help out the band for 12 months, ended up staying for nearly 3 years. In that time, the band has made good progress and we would like to thank him for his time and effort at Old Hall Brass. We wish him well for the future, and look forward to working with him again should the opportunity arise.

Old Hall Brass would like to welcome Jenny Coleman (1st Horn) and Terry Lloyd (2nd Trombone) into the band. Jenny joins us from Hoover (Bolton) band, and Terry returns to banding after a break of a year or two. Fleetwood Contest saw the contest debut for Emma Finney, who has joined the band on 3rd cornet. We also welcome back Ben Neal on percussion, who has rejoined the band after a spell with United Yorkshire Co-op Brass Band, whom Ben played with when studying at university in Bradford.

Unfortunately, a few players have decided to part company with the band. Old Hall Brass would like to thank Dawn, Peter and Adam Banks, Norma Tinsley and Julie Ratcliffe for their efforts during their time with the band.
