Has any one had a famous Celebrity Play their Instrument?

While I played for Ind Coope Brewery Brass Band In 1986 we did our local Regatta at Burton on trent and every year they had different Celebrities to open the Regatta
This particular year they had Curly Watts and Michelle Fowler
and Curly Watts played my cornet:clap:

My instrument (patsy) has been privileged enough to have a certain Matt Ingram playing her, what a lucky euphonium she is!!

Inverting the title of the thread; when Yamaha first produced their Maestro horns, Gordon Higginbottom travelled around the country demonstrating these. There was a demo at the Welsh College of Music and Drama (before it was Royal!!) and I arrived early. Gordon was there with his horn but the demo models hadn't arrived so we had a chat for a few minutes and then he gave me his horn to blow. Nervous or what! Anyway he was very complimentary and was a really nice guy. Having said that I have stuck with Sovereigns.
