I was tipped off by Brian Bowen about this latest release from the virtuoso German brass ensemble Brass Partout, thanks Brian.

This is a CD of music for brass by English composers Edward Elgar, Arthur Butterworth, Derek Bourgeois, John Tavener, John Pickard and Mark-Anthony Turnage.

    Definately worth a listen IMHO.

Huw Morgan's group included it in their debut concert at the RAM last month - first time I can remember coming across it, and well worth a listen.

London Brass Virtuosi (David Honeyball) first recorded it on the The Royal Eurostar Album. Closest band work I can link it to is The Forest Of Dean.
