Answering the tMP advert for a new bassist at Wem, Fred knew his rendition of the Bombasto would get him the job.

Brisith Army tests new sonic weaponry! MOD proud that their version costs 1/100th of the American one.............

(quote......The long range acoustic device, or LRAD, is a high-tech loudhailer capable of causing permanent damage to hearing from a distance of more than 300 metres (984ft) not a patch on a well-aimed pedal F, then.)

The Tuba players camoflage needed a bit more work, the rest of the bands gear kept them perfectly hidden.

With fear of recieving smaller band parts after the study score at the British Open was printed so small, some players are now getting a jump start on the publishers, by getting the instrument manufacturers to offer an optional bolt-on, small-print-reading facility!
