What is the opposite of :-
Hot - Cold
Slow - Fast
Suddenly - ?
not so suddenly??? :dunno
Oxford dictionary and Thesaurus
opposite of sudden is predictable thus
opposite of suddenly is predictably
Accoring to microsoft word.... the antonym of suddenly is gradually
According to UK English it is predicatable, unless of course the seven year old is from the US, where they have variations on the English language and use American English
7 yr olds, homework???!! tell them not to do it and enjoy thier youth!!
I didn't get any homework until I started secondary school, and even then it was much easier than that!
just give him a note saying he needs to be excused from doing homework owing to him being 7, and therefore much too busy having fun...
Do we know an exact answer yet for this from the school?! :-D
My money's on your guess with "gradually"
im going with gradually....only because i've been using it in law today "a sudden and tempory loss of control" V's a gradual "slow burn" process in which the defendant losses control.
as for having homework at the age of 7- i didnt!! but think it is extremely important to encourage as much "learning" as possible and if children as young as 7 are able to do things like this then good on them!
ps-no i am not a mother myself!
What, then they too can be unable to spell simple words?
The government sets homework guidelines....I know for year 6's it's something like 30 mins reading and 10 minutes spelling practise each night...much more than when I was a little nipper!
I hardly get any! :-D
Didn't they teach you anything at the school for the best educated criminals in the London Borough of Newham?????????????????
