Can anyone identify this tune?

  2. I'm not too sure what the actual piece itself is but an excerpt of it is used in Jules Levy's "Grand Russian Fantasia"

    The first part of it is Bozhe Tzarya Khrani (God Save the Tsar), the Imperial (pre-1917) Russian Anthem; a minor key version of it was what Tchaikovsky used in the 1812 overture.

    Not sure that the original would have been in that jaunty march arrangement though and I dunno what the next bit is. It may be that is some sort of "Russian Tunes" medley?

    the music is part of march slav by Tchaikovsky - but a differant arrangement
