If a band that regularly plays at the British Open, and has qualified to play again at the 2005 Open is relegated to the 1st Section for the 2005 Regionals, are they still allowed to play at the Open in 2005 ?

Yes Point of Ayr came 2nd in the Grand Shield in 1993 and played at the open for two years...they were in 1993 a nationally ranked 1st section band ( who did go on to win the 1st section national finals ).

Yes - Stocksbridge in 1995 - played Revelation
Were still in First Section - went to the finals on The Frogs and came I think 5th or 6th with Alan Lawton conducting
I think the winners were Rolls Royce Coventry
How do I remember all this? - because I am so sad (and I conducted Dodworth on Revelation)

Yeah Imps are still in the Open for 2005 and are in the 1st section in 2005.
