Bumper Sticker Seen Last Saturday

    As I was waiting to turn out of a side road, I spotted a bumper sticker on the car in front. It read as follows:

    "Are you a musician? If so, you're doing what most musicians do - following a DRUMMER!!"

    (grabs tin hat and retires to Anderson Shelter . . . )

    The most bizarre one I saw (although not music related) was on a police buggy in New York. The americans have a habit of using letters rather than numbers in business telephone numbers. It said something like $10,000 reward for information on anybody involved in an officer shooting. Ring 0800-shoot-a-cop !

    I did see a picture, somewhere on the net, of an American police car. In that particular state, their policy is that when they convict somebody of dealing drugs, they confiscate the felon's possessions. So there was this pretty powerful car, with police markings on it, and a sign on the back thanking the drug dealer who had kindly provided it to the police, free of charge!
